Network Provisioning Engineer

Sydney, NSW, Australia

Ref#: 6360

Date published: 12-Dec-2016

There’s something special about working for a company like Macquarie Telecom. We’re not the biggest in the industry where you’re just a number. We’re not tiny enough that you’ve never heard of us. We’re in that sweet spot where we’re strong enough to punch above our weight.

And we definitely do! We make a difference.

One of the ways we make a difference is by ensuring we deliver the best networks and equipment’s to customers.

About the Role

The role of the network engineer is to make sure we provide and configure new data and voice services and implement the changes to our customers. You might also occasionally act as the technical support to the Service Delivery team.

About You

You have a passion for networks and hands on experience in creating and providing networks on Cisco and or Juniper. If something was to go awry, you know how to troubleshoot. Maybe you have previously been a Network Engineer (Provisioning) or a Tier 2 NOC.

Certifications are always great, so hopefully you have a CCNA and a CCNP would also be an advantage. You might also have a JNCIA, JNCIS and or SIP/Broadsoft. Even though you’re from a telecommunications background, you still like to dabble and learn about hosting technologies and products.

This is a great opportunity. You’ll have the chance to work with great technology, people and develop yourself in the process! Apply now.
