This is a newly created role to support our Payroll Manager and the People and Culture and Finance teams with various employee related projects.
You will support the Payroll Manager to deliver accurate and timely payroll service to the Macquarie Telecom organisation. The ideal person will have around 18 months’ experience with payroll and HR related systems and an understanding of local legislation as it relates to payroll.
Our payroll run is monthly and you will be involved in supporting the preparation of monthly payrolls. You will have excellent attention to detail and be curious to find better ways of doing things and take pride in your work.
You will work across the organisation, so a strong service orientation in line with our values would be valuable. We are looking for someone who wants to work in a fast paced and growing company that recognises its people. There will be opportunities to learn and develop in the job.
We would love you to have customer service experience in retail, hospitality or related area, and it is desirable that you have had experience in project administration and Sage Micropay. A knowledge of basic payroll procedures, National Employment standards, Employment Income/Termination Tax Laws are required.
You will be comfortable dealing with people at all levels and exhibit our value of personal accountable service.
